The firmware is the Verituner's internal program that controls its operation and provides its various features. From time to time, Veritune provides updates to this firmware that include improvements or new capabilities. By loading this new firmware, your Verituner can be conveniently updated without sending it in for service.
Upcoming Improvements
Work is now underway for the next series of updates, focusing on performance improvements like faster responses and clearer readings designed to help you work more quickly. Because our updates are based on customer feedback, we need your input! If you have any thoughts on how Verituner 100 features could be improved, we would love to hear them.
Current Firmware
The most current firmware version is 100-7-19, released in August 2003. Those still using the 100-6 firmware series or earlier will appreciate the new features available including a redesigned spinner, one-pass pitch raise, new temperament set, battery gauge, and many usability improvements. The update procedure does not take long and only requires a PC or Mac computer and access to the internet. Detailed instructions are available here. Even if you are not computer savvy yourself, surely you know someone who could help you for just a few minutes. Assistance with this procedure is also available from Veritune by telephone whenever you need it.
