 When a pitch raise or pitch lowering is necessary, the Coarse Tuning function gets the job done fast. The pitch is displayed on a cents gauge which quickly shows you a wide range surrounding the target pitch, so you can move quickly and bring the note to pitch without a spinner. The Coarse Tuning function automatically calculates an overpull in order to compensate for the effects of changing the overall pitch of the piano. When you first play the note, the starting pitch is indicated by one marker, and the overpull pitch by another. Simply tune the note until the two arrows line up. Inharmonicity is automatically measured during Coarse Tuning, and you can adjust the Zoom level of the screen to control how large a pitch range is displayed.
